Described as America’s worst weed, it’s not really a weed at all. This non indigenous sedge grows like wild fire. It can grow by seeds, rhyzomes or nutlets. Each nutlet can remain dormant for two years and produce up to 800 additional plants. Requiring at least a three year treatment plan, if left untreated, it can take over or wipe out your lawn. If seen, notify us immediately. If left unchecked a mature plant can cause problems for years to come.
